I always have been very interested in flying, airplanes and aeronautics. Guess I got that from my dad who in his youth collected all the newspaper articles and anything he could find in regards to the air-race to Batavia. Also because of my dad I aquired my pilots license at the young age of 17 together with my twin brother. We started lessons when we were 16 and were not be able to get to the airport by car since the age to get your drivers license is "18" in Europe (and it should be that way too here in canada and the USA).
So in the Private airplanes page are a few pics of dad's Cessna 172 Skyhawk back in 1973.
At the time the pic was taken (1973) we were, at 17, the youngest to hold an International Pilots License in Europe and the youngest identical twins in the world with a Class A license.
